Melinda recently returned to Vancouver after 12 years of living in Lethbridge, Alberta, where she initially moved to finish a music degree and pick up longboarding. Along the way she was given an incredible gift in the family of Via Lethbridge, which in turn, changed the course of her life. In September 2016 Melinda was having a great visit with friends and family in Vancouver, when at the corner of Blanca and 16th Ave, Jesus started speaking to her about trusting Him and moving back to her homeland. This was unexpected, but became the launchpad for an incredible year of receiving a restored image of the Father and herself as a beloved daughter. Now making a home in the lower mainland and at Via Vancouver, Melinda's honoured to be welcomed warmly into this community; she's participating in worship and in Corpus Christi Phase I as Phase Pastor. Recently Melinda also accepted an invitation to partner in building a culture of worship at Anglican Church of the Ascension in Langley, BC. In her spare time Melinda likes to read books, reorganize her kitchen, ride her bike, walk in the forest or on the beach, and is forever seeking wide open views where the bigness of the sky is comforting and exhilarating.
