Celebrate the Eucharist with us Sunday's at 2.30p

Eucharist is a word that refers to the celebration of the Lord's table (often referred to as communion.)  The word Eucharist comes from the Greek word eucharistia meaning thankfulness or the giving of thanks.  Since it's beginnings the church has followed Jesus instruction to worship in this way, and at VIA the Lord's table is central to our worship life.

As a community we gather Sundays for a time of worship and teaching around the Lord's table.  We invite you to come and worship with us starting each week at 2.30p.  Presently we are gathering at Mike and Sara's home - Directions

What Can I Expect?

Our 90 minute Eucharist service is couched in a beautiful liturgy. Together we spend an extended time in sung worship followed by a 20-30 minute sermon.  After spending time singing, hearing the word of God, and praying together, we come to the Lord's table.  Everyone is welcome to join us regardless of where you're at on your journey with Jesus.  At the Lord's table we will serve both bread and wine to all baptized Christians.  If you're still on a journey toward baptism you're still SO welcome!  You will too be welcomed to the table to receive a prayer of blessing on your journey.

If you have any questions about our service, either prior to coming or while you're with us, please don't hesitate to ask!
